Lynwood Kelly is the sum of two extraordinary people. Husband and wife writing team, Troy and Kelly Abell. Together they crafted this based on true events adventure.

Troy Abell

Troy has written off and on since his days in high school, and this is his breakout novel. His passion for this story grew from a love of history. His research of the Civil War has inspired his dedication. Having grown up in Southern Virginia, he has an appreciation for the historical value his state offers.  With over 30 years in the financial industry with banking, finance and insurance, he has incorporated his work experience and his commitment to hard work to this novel.

Living in Florida, he enjoys all the state has to offer. Troy’s love for history has taken him to two continents. He’s continually fascinated by the birth of our nation, its triumphs, regrets, and evolution into the country we live in today. When he’s not writing, he enjoys water sports, touring the world, and spending time with his partner and family.

Kelly Abell

Kelly is the author of over ten novels and short stories. She writes young adult thrillers as well as adult romance, romantic suspense and paranormal romance. Now she’s branching out into historical adventure. Her aim is to write about gripping characters in tense situations that keep a reader turning the pages. This is her first historical novel, and she’s found the research and process of writing about the Civil War Era exhilarating.

She spends a great deal of time helping other writers through her blog Write with Kelly (www.writewithkelly.wordpress.com), as the Vice President of the Paranormal Romance Guild and a member of the Florida Writer’s Association.

When not writing, Kelly enjoys spending time with her family. She lives in Florida and enjoys all that living in the sunshine state brings, boating, fishing, beaches, theme parks, and more. She has a passion for reading (what a surprise!) She likes Historical Adventure, Thrillers, Romantic Suspense, and Romantic Comedy.
